About

Twenty Years Of Building Sites That Sell.

I’m Ian Hart, a marketing consultant, designer, and site owner based near Research Triangle Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Where I Come From

My family ran a metal scrap recycling business in Kentucky for decades. Growing up around steel gave me a feel for the material, the people who buy it, and the people who build with it.

That background is how I got into metal building construction, prefab, and modular buildings online. Sites like Barndominium.org and MetalBuildingHomes.org grew out of real knowledge of the product, and it shows in the content.

How I Work Today

I run Ian Hart Design LLC and operate a portfolio of more than 100 websites of my own. I monetize through affiliate and referral partnerships with manufacturers, plan companies, and service providers, so my sites are built to send them qualified buyers, not just traffic.

Because I’m running my own sites every day, the advice I give partners isn’t theory. I’ve tested it on my own properties first.
